John and Sarah met at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo (yeah, go mustangs!) and when they got engaged, they knew they wanted to be wed on the amazing central coast! They chose Santa Margarita Ranch (one of our favs!) for their 2014 June wedding. For their engagement shoot, we headed to Montana De Oro with their dog, Leila. Spooners Cove has a classic central coast beach look with tide pools, shale cliffs and amazing filtered light! After, we had a quick stop at the Los Osos Oaks State Reserve, and then to Bishop’s Peak to catch the last of the golden light. We ended the day with sushi at our favorite haunt, Yanagi! We loved hanging out with them and are excited to shoot their wedding next year!
