Bobby + Sophie | Figueroa Mtn Farmhouse

Okay here we go…What can I say about this wedding? Only that it was soo totally awesome! Sophie is a fellow photographer with The Collective Photographersand when she asked me if I wanted to shoot her wedding I was both honored and stoked. She is a rad photographer herself as well as a free spirit so I knew it was going to be an event unlike any other. They are a pretty rad couple and for the majority of their engagement, they spent their time in Haiti and the Philippines serving those who lost everything during the earthquake and tsunami a few years ago (she planned this incredible event all while doing that. That is an epic feat!). The wedding was held at the Figueroa Mountain Farmhouse located in Santa Ynez. When we first arrived the day before, I was speechless at how epic the location was. The Farmhouse is pieced together with a few different cabins that were originally from the east coast and it sits over an amazing canyon.  Sophie had this eclectic boho/60’s theme woven throughout the whole place, even the guest’s attire had a hint of flower power.  Necia worked with Sophie on designing the invites and other little paper goods and we also turned her invite into a wedding website! Onlyness and Tomorrows. Taryn from TOS events came out to make sure the day ran smoothly and Corinne from Panacea made an appearance with all her lovely blooms. Dee from VERA provided the most excellent vintage tables, chairs and dishware. The topper was Sophie and Bobby were surrounded by their close friends and family to help celebrate their nuptials. Congratulations Sophie and Bobby! Necia and I are excited for you guys.
