The natural beauty of Cass Winery offers the ideal backdrop for a California wine country wedding with its sprawling vineyards and clean modern aesthetic. Tiffany and her bridesmaids got ready at The Geneso Inn, a luxury boutique hotel nestled in a private setting on the Cass Winery property. The Geneso Inn is made up of nine rooms and suites. It’s also perfect for the wedding party and family to stay for all the pre and post wedding events. Nick and his groomsmen got ready at the Farmhouse on property. Having everyone on property really makes it easy for us. As photographers, it helps us capture all the getting ready moments. This makes a vineyard wedding at Cass Winery even more special. It also cuts out the travel logistics for the wedding party.
A Stunning Ceremony & Reception
The couple’s ceremony took place in the shade under a beautiful ancient oak tree nestled among the vines. Because the scenic views offered sweeping panoramas of the countryside, the couple stood before their guests and exchanged their vows. After the ceremony, guests were invited to walk the path between the vines to the reception space. The venue’s modern Barrel Room had a romantic atmosphere with beautiful wine barrels. Moreover, the tall roll up doors brought in the beauty of the vineyard at Cass Winery. It was perfect for a vineyard wedding reception.
The Beauty of Golden Hour
One of the most magical moments for any wedding photographer is golden hour. These are the precious moments before the sun sets, when the light is soft, warm, and absolutely breathtaking. At Cass Winery, golden hour is truly something special. As the sun began to dip behind the vineyards, the couple and their dog took a stroll through the vines. We captured some intimate portraits surrounded by the soft, glowing light. The romantic backdrop of the hills, rose bushes and vineyards made for some of the most stunning photographs of the day.
