I love the Dana Powers House. There are so many locations to shoot at and Judi has a huge antique collection that the possibilities are endless. Thus the reason she started a new vintage rental business here on the Central Coast! She has enjoyed her pieces so much over the years that she wants others to be able to enjoy them as well. I wanted to help her kick start this new venture of hers by doing an inspiration shoot of some of her prized pieces. In order to tackle this massive feat, I knew I need some help. Who better to help me style a shoot than my lovely wife (aka Umbrella Tree Design) and Jamie Hill. Jamie is a personal stylist for photo shoots and I knew she would be up to task of putting together an awesome set up. We were overwhelmed by the awesomeness that Judi had stored in her work shed; aisles of antique collections including milk glass vases, decanters, clocks, tins, cake stands, furniture and SO MUCH more we didn’t know where to start. After much ideation, we decided on tea/dinner party theme because Judy had a great collection of eclectic china, tea cups and chairs! Necia came up with a crown motif to be placed on her paper goods and Kelli’s baked goods from Sweet Pea Bakery and Flowers from Judi’s Garden were finishing touches. Below is a list of the rad vendors who volunteered their time and talent to help pull this shoot off. Thank you so much! Also thanks to Chloe and Malachi for helping out as well! And if you’re a bride in need of that one piece (or many pieces) that will help you create the perfect wedding, Judi is your girl. Check her stuff out at www.embellishvintagerentals.com
